Ada; She is a little girl living in a dry village where it has not rained for a long time. Ada's family is considering leaving the village if the thirst continues. Ada is very upset about this and wants to tell us about her village with her camera. She goes to a lake that used to be full of water and visits the island named after her. But she sees that the lake is completely dry, the soil is cracked and there is no water left in it.

THE ISLAND

Ada, who lives in arid village, sees that place used to be a lake has dried up.

This is a memorial for an ancient glacier that will fade out of existence in this generation. Emerson and Cedar, a five and three year-old pair of brothers who live on a sailboat, share what they have learned about this vanishing glacier in Olympic National Park. This short film is ancillary to the main effort, which is to ensure the glacier lives on in the heart of the next generation while fostering a deep connection to nature.

‘Arctic Ice: Under The Midnight Sun’ is a collaboration between filmmaker Michelle Sanders and composer Alice Boyd. An audiovisual exploration of the beauty of Arctic ice – and the perils it faces – the film is a love letter to an ecosystem on which we all depend, one which is rapidly disappearing.

A meditative exploration of time and mortality, Chasing Time follows photographer James Balog as he brings the 15-year Extreme Ice Survey project to a close. Accompanied by the Emmy-winning team behind Chasing Ice, the film unveils astounding visual evidence of climate change and spotlights the power of intergenerational collaboration in inspiring hope and action toward a sustainable future.
