Ganzorig Vanchig made his debut as a film producer with his work on Trio. He originally became connected with the project through his role as founder and chairperson of the Mongolian Down Sydrome Association, which he founded 20 years ago after his son was born with Down Syndrome.
Through his nonprofit, Ganzorig has focused some of his efforts on activism and lobbying work. Serving as a producer on Trio gave him the opportunity to influence people and change their minds on a variety of topics, including nomadic culture, inequality and Down Syndrome and national identity.
In addition to being an Official Selection winner in the Free Speech Film Festival, Trio won Best Feature Film in the Thai Film Festival, Best Cinematography in the Palm Springs International Down Syndrome Film Festival and Best Producer in the Ulaanbaatar Film Festival. It was also selected to the Warsaw International Film Festival.
Ganzorig has a background in finance, branding, marketing and communications. He earned his Master’s degree in Electronic Business Management from the International University of Japan and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame Australia. He is the founder of the Board at Bat Solution Partners, a business consulting firm specializing in strategy and communications.
