Paper Cat Films presents “Show Me!” an uplifting documentary about the importance of arts and culture, and how they enhance the human experience. Why do we need the arts? Filmmakers Kris Hipps and Britney Clipsham explore that question thru performance clips and interviews with five performing arts and cultural groups in SE Minnesota, to emphasize the “why” of arts and culture. Why do people make art, often for little or no financial gain or recognition? Is it instinctual for humans to perform and create? “Show Me” is a timely film about making and sharing art - theater, dance, music and cultural performance.
