Director Biography - Edie Eberhardt
What began as a long-held dream to explore acting has evolved into a full-blown creative journey through the world of independent filmmaking. After making her on-screen debut in The Cat Sitter, Edie returns to High Grass Hideout Studios for her second project, A Haunting on Dyke Road.
Through these experiences, she’s embraced every facet of the filmmaking process—from performance to production—discovering both her passion for storytelling and the occasional limits of her patience along the way.
Director Statement - Edie Eberhardt
I grew up watching and loving 80's horror movies. I specifically was drawn to those that could evoke some type of actual fear in the back of my brain. I hope that the re-telling of something that happened to me on a dark road in the middle of nowhere can evoke that in at least a couple of viewers. Our actors put a lot of miles on that old truck and turned around in so many of our neighbors' driveways that we're lucky they didn't call the law. My hope is that our viewers remember this tale when they're on a dark, lonely highway. Don't stop, keeping going, and for goodness sake, DON'T TURN AROUND!!!
