Army soldier Karina Lopez survived a sexual assault at the Fort Hood military base in 2018. Two years later, Vanessa Guillen, another Latina soldier, dissappeared and was later found murdered there. This gripping story chronicles Karina’s first time going public with her trauma, following other Latina military women who have come forward to demand the end to abuse of active-duty soldiers and the right to justice. #IAMVANESSAGUILLEN is about the resilience of survivors of military sexual violence and their fight to change the system that silenced them.
