<p>BRAINWASHED: SEX-CAMERA-POWER takes us on an eye-opening journey through the gendered politics of shot design in Hollywood movies. Using more than 175 film clips from Hollywood favorites and cult classics as well as interviews with filmmakers and scholars, filmmaker Nina Menkes unveils a framework of misogyny and paternalism. From early cinema to the present day, this bias infiltrates our favorite films and impacts the ongoing epidemic of sexual harassment and assault, and employment discrimination against women.</p>

Greetings from the GlobeDocs Film Festival! I am writing with instructions for securely uploading your film to our screening platform, Eventive.   Your content will be protected with multi-platform DRM, encoded for optimal playback across a variety of streaming environments, geo-blocked and audience restricted as required, and delivered securely to authorized viewers.  SPECS:  • 10 GB maximum file size • 1080p resolution recommended • .mov, .mp4 accepted  TIPS:  • Eventive recommends that you upload an H.264 video file encoded at 10Mbps. If possible, select "High Profile" H.264 setting instead of "Main Profile" when you export your video. • Please remain on the upload page until it says upload success. Navigating away prematurely will kill the upload.    We kindly ask that you upload your film by Monday, September 21 so that we are able to test and troubleshoot all content.
