Filmmakers create teams, and gather at a Friday evening Kick-off to draw a genre. A prop, character, and line of dialogue are revealed, and each team must include them in a short film (4-7 minutes). They race to write, produce, and edit the film in just 48 hours. Films have been divided into separate groups for screening and audiences will be able to vote for their favorites.
