We are really excited to present our first ever Caribbean Women In Film panel. We've selected some of the women filmmakers that we've long followed and admired.
This fantastic selection of panelists include Trinidadian writer/director Maya Cozier known for her films Short Drop and She Paradise, Vincentian writer/director Melanie Grant known for The Book Of Jasmine and Those Who Have Eyes To See, Jamaican actress/musician Shanique Brown (Sugar), Jamaican actress Shantol Jackson (Yardie, Sprinter, Sugar) and writer/director/producer and lecturer Michelle Serieux.
These amazing women from across the region will be invited to share their personal journeys and to discuss how the Caribbean film industry can increase inclusivity and transparency for women. This will be a live conversation so audience members will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions.
