Ad oltre un anno dall'inizio della guerra in Ucraina è nata l'idea di raccontarla, di raccontare non solo la guerra ma soprattutto la storia di chi fugge dal proprio paese e trova accoglienza in una città fino ad allora sconosciuta. Da questo nasce il docufilm, diretto e prodotto dal regista Andrea Rainone, che racconta la storia di alcune donne partite dall'Ucraina ed arrivate a Rovigo "In cerca di Pace", racconta la storia di una città che si è resa accogliente, di tante voci che si sono unite per chiedere la pace e continuano a farlo quotidianamente.

Over a year after the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the idea was born to tell its story — not only the story of the war itself, but above all that of those who flee their homeland and find refuge in a city that was, until then, unknown to them. From this idea came the docufilm, directed and produced by filmmaker Andrea Rainone, which tells the story of several women who left Ukraine and arrived in Rovigo “In Search of Peace.” It tells the story of a city that chose to open its doors, of many voices that came together to call for peace — and that continue to do so every day.
