Plan A is based on the true story of “Nakam” (“vengeance”) - a group of Jewish vigilantes, who, after the Holocaust, vow to avenge the deaths of their people. We meet Max, a survivor who has lost his family in the camps. With nothing left to live for but revenge, he joins the Jewish Brigade, soldiers under the British command, whose covert mission is to find and execute individuals thought to hold leading positions in the Nazi system. When the brigade is disbanded, Max has a choice: to start a new life in Palestine, or stay behind to help enact the audacious Plan A, proposed by Nakam’s charismatic leader, Abba Kovner: to kill – in one fell swoop - one German citizen for every Jew killed in the war. An eye for an eye…six million for six million.
