You pile up associations the way you pile up bricks. Memory itself is a form of architecture”--Louise Bourgeois. In this movement based visual poem a woman inside her childhood home gathers memories, some fond and some painful, as she travels from room to room. Can she break out of her history? Will she master her memories and find freedom? This short film, part Magical Realism and part environmental dance piece, explores the ways our memories can define and haunt us if we let them wall us in.
