“Heartland” follows a woman and her grandfather who disagree on the best way to spend his final days. Jackie wants to document their experiences for Heartland Life Site, a virtual reality platform that houses memories. Lance wants to stay present and make memories the traditional way. The more Jackie pushes, the more frayed their relationship becomes.
