This three-film block starts off with an unexpected and marvelous superhero film set in Brovary, Ukraine, a city east of Kyiv. The mockumentary follows Captain Brovary, a do-gooder who actually does something heroic while trying to make a name for himself. The final two films explore the Russian invasion of Ukraine through a fictionalized narrative and a documentary. Prepare to leave this block with a deeper understanding of the war's impact on civilians and the resilience it takes to rebuild.

In this mockumentary set in war-torn Brovary, Ukraine (Kyiv region), a group of documentarians is shooting a film about the war's effect on people's lives. Unexpectedly, they manage to capture footage of a real-life hero with super strength. Captain Brovary is narcissistic but beloved by the local residents. Meanwhile, a mysterious competitor appears on the scene – Black Mstyun. Legends quickly spread about this newcomer and his good deeds. Captain Brovary soon realizes that his own services are no longer needed, and believing he was "defeated" by an ordinary guy, Captain Brovary falls into depression. He climbs to the roof of a high-rise building to jump, but there he unexpectedly saves a girl and develops a renewed sense of purpose.
