Written as a letter to a child in Gaza by Pullitzer prize winning author, Chris Hedges, the film takes the audience on a haunting & realistic journey through Gaza today from a child's perspective.

"Free Words" follows Pulitzer-winner Mosab Abu Toha, a detained poet from Gaza whose art becomes a powerful voice of resistance and hope amid oppression.

Oscar begins to isolate himself in his playful childhood world. His best friend, Jesus, no longer wants to play after falling in love with Betsa, a schoolmate. Caught between leaving childhood behind or continuing to play alone, terrorist violence erupts, forcing Oscar to grow up overnight and abandon his hometown.

Under the influence of tragic circumstances, the young woman is forced separate with her husband. While doing ordinary things and maintaining contact with her lover, she tries to overcome her fear and despair. Will she be able to cope with her feelings if the connection is lost?

Shahin and Bahram, two high school classmates, must pass their final exams to avoid mandatory military service in Iran. They decide to steal the exam questions. Along the way, they face events and choices that will be a turning point in their friendship.
