This block delivers big energy and bold storytelling spanning from offbeat gems to those working to make positive change in their communities - including the community in Fort Wayne’s own Harvester neighborhood. These storytellers aren’t afraid to dig deep, experiment, and celebrate the wins.
Sponsored by the City of Fort Wayne Public Art Commission, Shout Out: Fort Wayne is an annual initiative that celebrates two neighborhoods through art projects. For the first year, the historic Harvester neighborhood, with deep roots of over 100 years, was highlighted with the doc, The Harvester (The East End) Neighborhood.
Harvester's identity was tied to the robust industry that eventually left the area, leaving the neighborhood without a true identity for decades.
