Tang Hua Sheng(the Candied peanut) is a dessert offered during the worship of the Kitchen God. In this short film, "I" explore the significance of this ritual for my family and me by imagining the real existence of the Kitchen God. From childhood curiosity to nostalgia after leaving home as an adult, "I" gradually realize that this traditional custom still holds deep meaning for our family in modern society.
