"Curious Yellow" is a dance created for video. It needs no explanation.

A 3 screen experimental film about the human species’ ongoing troubled relationship with nature.

The initial imagery in this film was recorded the last time the filmmaker saw his sister alive. By alternately sharpening and compressing the video, the imagery erodes and fades into a impressionistic wash of pixels, gesture, and spirit. Featuring music by Chris Hunt, this piece serves as an ode to the dueling rhythms of memory and grief.

In 2021 marks 700 years since the death of poet Dante Alighieri, whose monuments are frequently seen in Italian squares. A middle school class in Trento (Northern Italy) and their teacher wanted to remember Dante and celebrate their city’s monument with music and pictures.
