Japanese Buddhism describes life as water pouring in and out of bodies gradually, no moment of beginning or end. As one woman pondering life’s fluidity and her terminated pregnancy, the film explores spiritual concepts and individual grief. Mixed-animation and live-action montages visualize a private meditation of life, death, and faith.
