Walter Vismara is the accountant of a small provincial factory. After moving to Milan out of necessity, he finds himself working in a company whose owner is obsessed with soccer and loves to have his employees play a game every year. However, one of the two teams that will have to face each other is missing a goalkeeper and Walter, in order to fulfill the boss's wishes, pretends to be one. However, he will have to try to find a solution before the game.
