"Are You Human" is a music video for "Hooked On Bionics"- A Robot Love Story for the Ages.

I did shoot this video, edited, animated, and composited this as a one-man-band, between jobs. A real labor of love.

The story is very personal to the artist and plays in quintessential New York location while staying away from overused postcard imagery; we follow the robots on their journey of love and life.

It's incredible to think that I was looking for unusual, isolated locations back then and how that's recently become a reality.

The loneliness and despair seem all too real now, but there are hope and faith at the end of this story. That is humanity.

I am a Swiss transplant living and working in New York City. I moved to New York to open up a branch for the Swiss production company Frame Eleven, then rose to the ranks of major American companies such as Click 3X and Superfad, where I was the creative lead and served national and international clients and brands. Since 2006 I am working independently as a director and creative director creating content and design for live-action and motion design projects.
