The Seeds We Sow (Feature Film): Timely and universal in its themes, The Seeds We Sow explores the (fictional) death in custody of 16 year-old Chiara, arrested for spray-painting anti-Macron graffiti, and its effect on fellow high school students.

Goodbye Papi (Short Film): In a “post-#MeToo” world, the US Government has passed a constitutional law that permits the execution of registered sex offenders by members of the general public, a practice made possible by a government-authorized app. Sexual violence has decreased dramatically, prompting other countries to implement their own laws, but at what cost?

About the Pairing:

A fictional, fantastical companion to The Seeds We Sow, Goodbye Papi imagines a disturbingly plausible youth-led movement of a different sort.

- Keltie Duncan

Chiara was an extroverted and sociable teenager: at church and then at the communal cemetery, tributes from her family and classmates followed one after another to honour the one who paid for her death with a "MACRON MUST QUIT" tag affixed to a wall in her high school.
