Sandro seems to lead a life as dry and dull as the rural Brazilian town in which he resides; his days have fallen into a monotonous routine. The handsome, shy, middle-aged bear works as a manager at a fertilizer factory, and spends each morning at the public pool. Occasionally he swims laps, but more often his time there is spent watching the buffet of bulging beefcake on display. And the hunks he sees often become inspiration for Sandro’s kinky, neon-drenched fantasies.
It’s at the pool where Sandro’s gaze is met by Ricardo, a sexy co-worker with soft, soulful eyes and tantalizing swimmer’s build. Soon the men are texting across the factory floor, planning for a sweaty post-work rendezvous in the woods. They hook up again (and again), but always away from prying eyes, because Sandro is adamant about keeping his sexuality private.
Then the studly Maicon appears on the scene, looking every inch a shirt-stretching, mustachioed, Tom of Finland muscle stud come to life. And Sandro suddenly has a new object to lust after. But when it seems Maicon and Ricardo might be taking a bit too much of an interest in each other, Sandro’s yearnings start to curdle into obsession and jealousy.
Daniel Nolasco’s seductive, explicit Dry Wind is all about the act of looking: studying the swirling pattern of hair on a bare torso; the absent-minded adjustment of some clingy swim trunks; the stretch of leather; and the way streams of water cascade over muscle in the locker room shower.
Let’s face it, we can all use something a little steamy, a lot horny, and just a bit porny in our 2020 viewing. But while wish fulfilment fantasies can be fine, you won’t get anywhere simply watching and wishing for satisfaction. You’ve got to open your mouth and speak out exactly what it is you desire.
