Karam Camera tells the story of Hana Barhum and Shaimaa Al-Sabti, two Syrian refugee girls who embark on a journey as first time filmmakers. Through multiple perspectives and a combination of black and white imagery and color, Karam Camera highlights the discovery and joy of making films, while conveying the current landscape of young Syrian refugees.

The Old Young Crow tells the story of Mehrdad, a 10 year old Iranian boy who has recently moved to Tokyo. Using a combination of practical effects, animation, live action, and computer generated elements, The Old Young Crow tells a story of loss, immigration, familial love, and the beauty of nature.

It is the 1990s; Melbourne, Australia. Six-year-old, Oscar struggles to find connection with his multicultural family when relatives from Serbia move into his crowded suburban home. Surrounded by strange people and languages, Oscar is unable to express himself, especially to his bossy cousin, Mila. In trying to keep her away, he unwittingly tears his family apart. For once, the house becomes silent, and Oscar can see that his family is just as lonely as he is. In a loving gesture, he links the house together with make-shift tin can telephones. Oscar listens as his family laugh and share stories in their mother tongues. Oscar is finally connected with his family.

Surrounded by gibberish in a foreign schoolyard, Hina, a new immigrant, attempts to charm her way into friendships using an omamori (Japanese amulet) and broken English phrases. After one disastrous introduction, she retreats to her confidant Holly, a self-righteous sheep residing at a local petting farm, who teaches Hina English through wild imagination. But a human-sheep relationship can only last so long and when Holly cuts her ties, Hina must now fill the Holly-shaped void with a real human friend.
