The Invisible Crown is an honest look into the emotional, mental, and physical consequences of living with endometriosis. Hannah Lindgren has dealt with this disease for over half of her life.&nbsp;The film explores: the trauma Hannah has experienced from being systematically disbelieved by the medical system; the complicated relationship she has with her body and identity; and her steadfast pursuit for a better quality of life. The life of Elijah Abels, a mixed martial artist from Fort Wayne, Indiana, is upended after his twin brother, Isaiah, suffers a devastating injury during a match. Isaiah's injury sends shockwaves through the family, challenging them to grapple with grief, identity, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead.After the injury, Elijah steps into a new role -- not just a fighter, but a brother honoring a legacy. As he navigates the emotional toll and physical demands of the sport, Elijah and his family find strength in each other and in the memory of the dreams they share. Between 1947 and 1967, black owned homes in Birmingham, Alabama were bombed over 50 times. Homes on Center Street were targeted so often, the neighborhood became known as ‘Dynamite Hill.’ The street became an inflection point for the Civil Rights movement.
I'm Still Here is a short film about three people who lived this history as children and elected to stay in Birmingham to try and turn the city's struggles with Civil Rights into a symbol for hope.
