For 134 years, Muncie, Indiana has been a hub of glassmaking, beginning with the establishment of the Ball Brothers Glass Manufacturing Company in 1888. Today, Muncie continues its glassmaking legacy, producing a range of items and hosting the renowned Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass at Ball State University, which has caught the eye of David Letterman, Ball State's most renowned alumnus. "Clear Reception with David Letterman" follows Letterman's return to Muncie, where he immerses himself in the craft alongside students and faculty, embarking on a journey that unites the legendary TV host with the rich history and vibrant community of glassmaking.
