After making the difficult decision of leaving the Amish community a decade ago, the Hochstetler family revisits their past and discovery of truth. Although the family are excommunicated as a result of attending a religious tent meeting, the children admire their parents' decision. Keeping many of their traditions alive today, the Hochstetlers are happy with the decision they made a decade ago.
