In these documentary shorts we hear from those facing persecution in Tanzania, and a transgender reality star in Israel looking back on her moment in the spotlight. In films from Australia, a lesbian couple reminisce about a lifetime of love and activism, while a transgender pioneer describes his journey from child actress to body builder. All four are a powerful, enriching opportunity to understand the past and work towards a better future.

After appearing on TV talent show The Next Star (הַכּוֹכָב הַבָּא) Johnita, a young transgender singer, falls back into her reality. Living with her Orthodox father – while also attending the Pride Parade – she dreams of finding love while the realities of discrimination and hatred are a constant presence in her life.

Ar ôl ymddangos ar y sioe dalent deledu The Next Star (הַכּוֹכָב הַבָּא) mae Johnita, cantores ifanc drawsryweddol, yn cwympo yn ôl i'w realiti. Yn byw gyda'i thad Uniongred - tra hefyd yn mynychu'r Orymdaith Balchder - mae hi'n breuddwydio am ddod o hyd i gariad tra bod realiti gwahaniaethu a chasineb yn bresenoldeb cyson yn ei bywyd.
