The complexities and contradictions of family life are fertile ground for storytelling, even more so for LGBTQ filmmakers. The relationships of parents and children, and the dynamic between siblings all come under the lens in both dramas and a moving personal documentary.

Forgiveness Day is a portrait of love and trauma, where two brothers find themselves navigating the space between trust, faith and healing. Queer filmmaker Derek Ho journeys back to Singapore in the hope of revealing to Jeremiah a secret that has been deeply buried for the last thirty years.

Mae Forgiveness Day yn bortread o gariad a thrawma, lle mae dau frawd yn cael eu hunain yn llywio'r gofod rhwng ymddiriedaeth, ffydd ac iachâd. Mae'r gwneuthurwr ffilmiau Queer Derek Ho yn teithio yn ôl i Singapore yn y gobaith o ddatgelu i Jeremiah gyfrinach sydd wedi ei chladdu'n ddwfn am y deng mlynedd ar hugain diwethaf.
