The festival, supported by Norwegian Embassy, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Norway. The 2022 Iris Jury Chair is Bard Ydén the Executive Director and Artistic Director of Oslo/Fusion International Film Festival.
Bard has created a special retrospective of LGBTQ+ short films from Norway for Iris. These films are available to view on our on-line festival until the end of October.
This is a short film project based on paintings by David Hockney in the period 1965-1972. The film also touches on his theories on the secret knowledge of our old masters from his book in 2001, "Rediscovering the Lost Techniques of the Old Masters".
