Matthew Sorgie (He/Him/His) is a director based in New York whose work blends the spontaneity and candid nature of nonfiction filmmaking with the precision of frame-by-frame animation. His films centre untold histories that celebrate the legacy of queer pioneers and build bridges across generations of the LGBTQIA+ community.
