The shortlist of six films competing for the first ever Iris Prize Student Short Film Award. A new category for the festival, targeting UK and Ireland based students as part of our 20th anniversary year. Also, eligible for the Iris Prize Co-op audience award.

Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Wyatt Carson (They/She) (Royal College of Art MA '25) works in stop-motion animation, printmaking, painting and poetry. Carson's art practice embraces experimentation, curiosity, and imperfection.

Various exhibitions and festivals have included Carson’s work, most notably the Annecy Festival in France, and the John Ruskin Prize in London (Kate Mason Prize For Innovation).
