Marcus H. Rosenmüller is the writer and director of The Keeper.

Born 1973 in Tegernsee, 1995 to 2002 studies at the University of Television and

Film Munich.

His feature film "Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot", to which he, together with Christian

Lerch, also wrote the screenplay, gave him the big breakthrough. The film was not

only a success at the German box office, but also won numerous, prestigious prizes,

including the German Film Award in the categories "Director" and "Screenplay" as

well as the Bavarian Film Award in the category Best Young Director.

The successful Tandern trilogy was created in 2006. Afterwards "Beste Zeit" and

"Beste Gegend" the final part "Beste Chance" was filmed in Upper Bavaria and India

in 2013.

In the last 12 years, Rosenmüller has made 11 feature films, each attracting between

4 and 5 million viewers to cinemas.
