An African American teenager, with the help of a Jewish attorney, bravely challenges the most powerful white supremacist in 1960s Louisiana. Systemic racism and pervasive anti-Semitism meet their match in decisive legal battles, including the U.S. Supreme Court, in this documentary.

At 7 p.m. May 6, David Leyton, Genesee County prosecutor, will present a virtual talkback discussion of the movie.
