Gazozz follows two older adults, Peter and Lili, on a first date set up by Lili's daughter, Nelli. As the date progresses, the two characters wander throughout the heart of Tel Aviv, often bumping into Nelli along the way. Peter and Lili, now older in age, talk about heartbreak, missed opportunities, and their experiences being single parents.
While the couple learns more about each other and their beliefs, Nelli confronts her own relationship with her mother, who has been keeping a secret for the past 30 years. The three characters cross paths many times throughout the date, in more ways than one. The film ends with Lili's secret coming to light in one final sentence.
