היה היה ילד Once Upon a Boy

Hebrew with Subtitles

A family deals with the challenges of cerebral palsy, which affects one of their twin sons. Ten-year-old Ron is intelligent, charming, and full of life, but while he watches his twin brother run and play with their third sibling, Ron’s movements are becoming increasingly limited. Their parents are devoted to the family’s well-being, each with their own coping styles: one more anxious and interventional and the other more optimistic. Family relationships are explored through interviews as well as through observational passages. With the focus more on the people whose lives it captures, then on the disease that alters their existence, the film is both emotionally honest and unsentimental.
