RON HOWARD - Director
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard is one of this generation’s most popular directors. Howard’s films include: the 2017 Grammy award-winning Best Music Film The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Rush, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Ransom, Backdraft, The Paper, Far and Away, Willow, Cocoon, and the critically acclaimed Oscar-winning dramas A Beautiful Mind and Apollo 13. Ron has definitely created some of Hollywood’s most memorable films. Whether in front of or behind the camera, Howard has been a part of many of the most significant television and film projects in every decade since the 1960s.
Currently, Howard is in pre-production on Thirteen Lives about the rescue of twelve boys and their soccer coach from a flooded cave in Thailand, and is directing a documentary about renowned chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen. He also directed the documentary Rebuilding Paradise released in July 2020 and produced the documentaries Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band, D. Wade: Life Unexpected, and Dads.
GLENN CLOSE - Actor
Seven-time Academy Award-nominated actress, Glenn Close is an acclaimed performer whose work has graced stage, screen, and television. She made her feature film debut in George Roy Hill’s The World According to Garp, earning her awards from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, the National Board of Review, and her first Academy Award nomination. She was subsequently nominated for an Oscar for her roles in The Big Chill, The Natural, Fatal Attraction and Stephen Frears' Dangerous Liaisons.
Close’s most recent film role in The Wife, won her multiple awards, which included a Golden Globe, SAG, Independent Spirit, Critics Choice Awards for “Best Actress,” as well as nominations from BAFTA, the Gotham Awards, and the London Film Critics, along with that seventh Oscar nomination. She has just completed filming on Four Good Days with co-star Mila Kunis, for writer/director Rodrigo Garcia.
AMY ADAMS - Actor
Six-time Academy Award nominated and two-time Golden Globe winning actress Amy Adams has built an impressive body of work. In 2018, Adams was seen in Adam McKay’s film, Vice, starring as Lynne Cheney alongside Christian Bale and Steve Carell. She starred recently in HBO’s high-profile drama series, Sharp Objects, in which she also executive produced the series with director Jean-Marc Vallée.
Amy is currently in production on Universal’s film adaptation of the Tony-winning Broadway musical, Dear Evan Hansen, starring alongside Julianne Moore and Ben Platt. She can soon be seen in the upcoming film, The Woman in the Window, with Gary Oldman and Julianne Moore, and will star in and executive produce Kings of America, a limited series for Netflix, reteaming once again with director Adam McKay.
