KIFFis very excited to team up with Cruinniú na nÓg.

Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.

As part of the initiative, KIFF is delighted to present a carefully curated selection of fun and enlightening Short Films for the 13+ audience followed by a LIVE PANEL DISCUSSION hosted by Mieke Vanmechelen on Saturday the 12th at 2PM

This mix of documentaries and live action fiction films is a lighthearted selection that entertains while exploring important themes relevant to young people, such as independence and finding your voice as a young adult.

While the selection is overall positive, joyus, and contains some comedic films, there is some mild bad language and serious themes for which viewer discretion is advanced, especially for younger audiences. We recommend this programme for viewers of 13+.

Seven Feet Nine and a Quarter Inches

A blokey pub game, all beer bellies and pork scratchings - that’s darts, or so they say. This film captures the misunderstood sport in a new light, honing in on youth darts preeminent talent, 15 year old Katie Sheldon.
