KIFF is very excited to team up with LASTA Youth Arts Festival and Siamsa Tíre to present a carefully curated selection of fun and enlightening Short Films for young adults.

LASTA is a nationwide arts programme for young people by young people, running from June 11 - 20th. Siamsa Tíre's young curators have focused on up-and-coming Kerry and international talent for a fun and interactive week of traditional arts.

This mix of documentaries and live action fiction films is a lighthearted selection that entertains while exploring important themes relevant to young people, such as independence and finding your voice as a young adult.

Overall, the selection is positive, joyous, and does contain some comedic films, but there is some mild bad language and serious themes for which viewer discretion is advised, especially for younger audiences. We recommend this programme for viewers of 13+.
