Shalini, an Indian-American woman who recently broke up with her fiancé, is forced onto a blind date by her well-meaning but bossy younger sister. While waiting for said date, Shalini runs into Stacey, a stranger who's about to get engaged at the same restaurant. But when Shalini's date, and Stacey's engagement, both go south, the two women retreat to the bathroom, bonding over their ruined dates and helping each other move forward in love and life.
