KOESROYO is a documentary about the life and musical journey of Koesroyo Koeswoyo or better known as Yok Koeswoyo. Tells the story of Yok's life as a child of aristocratic descent from Tuban who was actually forbidden by his father to play music, but instead formed a band with his brothers until they became one of the iconic Indonesian band called Koes Plus, which was once a state intelligence officer in Old & New Order regime. This film also tells the story of Yok's life, about the losses he experienced, his life in the midst of his family, his creative process in creating legendary songs, to Yok's old age now as the last man standing.
