SASA is a thirteen-year-old street urchin who lives in in the suburbs of Naples. He spends most of his time listening to rap music and smoking joints with his two best friends CIRA and NICOLAS. He grew up without a father figure and lives alone with his young mother RUSˆ. They have a very close relationship which

sometimes morphs into unbridled jealousy. He has a deep passion for hip-hop, and he's musically talented. Sasa's dream is to become a famous rapper so that he can give his mother a better quality of life. The day he meets YODI a famous Neapolitan old-school rapper he starts to believe that his dream can come true.

He composes a song dedicated to Rus¨. That is when he's confronted with the cynical music industry of the outside world, which forces him to abandon his dream. His disillusionment turns him into a small-time criminal, pushing drugs in his schoolyard so that he can support his mother. He gets caught and risks losing everything he's got. The guilt and the pain he inflicts on Rus¨ and the possibility of being sent to a foster home, drag Sasa into a deep depression that seems to have no way out. But another encounter with Yodi will open the young man's heart and bring back the necessary enthusiast he needs to confront whatever the future has in stall for him. Whatever that may be.
