The death of family patriarch Alfredo sends his heirs into a downward spiral. With the pending sale of their beloved beach house, itself a repository of childhood memories, three siblings’ long-simmering resentments are brought to a full boil, egged on by their willful and stubborn mother, now a widow and refusing to be marginalized by the dramatic changes afoot in the family.
