Born in Athens, Gregoris Rentis received his MFA in film directing from California Institute of the Arts, then went on to direct award-winning commercials and music videos. His graduation film Sundown premiered at Rotterdam Film Festival. Dogwatch, his first feature-length documentary film, received the TitraFilm Jury award at Les Arcs as a work in progress.
