For 15 years, photojournalist Giorgos Moutafis has documented the journey of migrants across European borders. His camera delves into inaccessible places, bearing witness to the stories of people who push human boundaries, facing danger in unfamiliar and unwelcoming places. 


Giorgos has documented the most severe humanitarian crises and conflicts in more than 25 countries all over the world. His work has been published in Newsweek, TIME, Liberation, Al Jazeera, BILD, The New Yorker, CNN and the BBC, among others. Based in Athens, he now works as a freelance photojournalist and filmmaker.
