Arrawraw is a dreamlike piece in which dance takes us to a familiar and yet magical place. Taking as a starting point an ‘arrorró,’ a lullaby from the artist's native Canary Islands, Arrawraw takes us on a journey to the origins of each one of us, searching for that common origin of all, the beginning.

Arrawraw is a dreamlike piece in which dance takes us to a familiar and yet magical place – a journey to the origins of each one of us, to the common origin of all – the beginning.

Inexistent Word

A naked man is fast asleep, surrounded by the sounds of his dreams. He wakes up alone in an unfamiliar area, hearing a mother's Voice drawing him in; but as soon as he is ready to answer, the Voice is silent.

At the end of a dying world, two scavengers are running out of options. When they find a way out, one doesn't hesitate to take what she can. But when faced with her victim, she has to decide if her survival is what’s most important.

The World, 2020. The body isolated, the mind in contact. How many flaws and powers inhabit the cloistered human being?

This work portrays the chaos, selfishness, and cultural differences between people who cannot recognize emergencies as emergencies due to the blunt confusion of non-daily life.
