River Surfer&nbsp;is a glimpse into the unique sport of river surfing through the mind of Gannet Horn. Gannet was a long time ocean surfer before discovering he could surf the river in his own backyard. From this point onward he became obsessed. Gannet’s passion for place and commitment to the community is what inspired this project.

A story about the power of two wheels and a community built through bicycling. After a devastating breakup, Rafael finds solitude and restoration on the open road, pedaling his way to emotional health from Mexico City to northern Colorado. With just $500 to his name, he spearheads a revolution to help the underprivileged members of his new neighborhood the best way he knows how—repairing their bicycles.

The Legend of Rafael

A documentary film about WEIO, the World Eskimo Indian Olympics. Native Eskimos have competed in these games since 1961, which is a gathering of Eskimo people from all around the circumpolar region. It is the largest annual celebration of Alaskan Native Heritage. Through travelling to native villages and filming WEIO, this film will provide a look into the lives of native Alaskan Eskimos and share their traditions and culture with the audience.

Game of Survival: A Culture Preserved in Ice

While working as a dishwasher at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, filmmaker&nbsp;Rachel Heckerman serendipitously befriended a team of scientists and scuba divers, who offered her the chance to experience life in Antarctica through their eyes. Not knowing you could scuba dive on this continent, nor knowing that sea spiders are a species that exist, she wanted to share their story with the world from the most unique and isolated continent on earth.
