One Way or Another follows Yolanda, a schoolteacher, and Mario, a factory worker, whose growing relationship brings their different backgrounds, values and ideas about life into focus. Set in a changing Havana, their romance becomes a reflection of the tensions between old traditions and new ways of thinking.
