Twenty years after his tragic death, the documentary traces the life of physician Carlo Urbani, who first identified SARS during the epidemic that broke out in Vietnam in 2003, stopping its spread. The narrative is entrusted to the testimonies of relatives, friends, and numerous archive images and footage depicting the most significant moments of Carlo Urbani's human and professional journey: from his trip to Cambodia, to his move to Vietnam, from the Nobel Prize awarded to Doctors Without Borders, of which he was president, to the commitment paid with his own life to prevent the worldwide spread of the terrible SARS virus.
