About Holly Amber Church
Composer Holly Amber Church had a busy year with several releases in 2019 including; MOLLYWOOD which stars 3x platinum selling artist Waka Flocka Flame, DOLLS starring Dee Wallace (E.T.) and DARK LIGHT by director Padraig Reynolds. Padraig's psychological thriller OPEN 24 HOURS is coming in 2020 as well as director Michelle Danner's BAD IMPULSE (starring Paul Sorvino) and Courtney Paige's directorial debut, THE COLOR ROSE - all with scores by Ms. Church. Holly also recently scored the supernatural horror film THE TOYBOX starring Denise Richards and Mischa Barton. Besides being able to write some truly thrilling and suspenseful music, Holly also likes to score action, adventure, animation, documentaries, sci-fi, dramas and comedies and has signed on to score the inspiring biopic drama BUTTERFLY IN THE TYPEWRITER, directed by David DuBos and featuring an all star cast. Holly also just signed on to score three documentaries, THE LOU CONTER STORY, A BAND TO HONOR and THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE (about Mike Webster, the 1st NFL player diagnosed with CTE).
Holly recently won the award for Best Original Score at the 2020 Women in Horror Film Festival for her score for the film FELLOWSHIP. Her score for the Shudder Film RUIN ME was nominated at the inaugural Women in Horror Film Festival. She also won the Gold Remi Award for her music for the film WRAITH at the Worldfest International Film Festival and was a finalist in the Turner Classic Movies Young Film Composers Competition twice. She's a proud member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers and an alumni of the prestigious ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop, the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive and the University of Southern California's Screen Scoring program. With several films released in the past few years and several upcoming projects she's attached to, Holly has proven she is a reliable, inventive, hard-working and creative collaborator.
Besides her love for film scoring, Holly also loves anything to do with tiki, Disney, monsters and ghosts!
