An 80-year-old Woman Airforce Service Pilot remembers her audacious attempt to fight for military status and for a flag to be placed on her fellow pilot’s coffin near the end of WWII. After flying a collective 60 million miles in service with 1078 other women pilots between 1942-1944 in a specialized training program designed to free the male pilots for battle, she and the Lost Last Class of Avenger Field are abruptly disbanded, shamed for taking the jobs of men, denied military status and forced to pay their own way home.

Kate is also a student pilot member of the Coachella Valley chapter of the Ninety-Nines Women’s Flying Org.
Director Statement
The Boundless project has been a labour of love for over a decade. It is dedicated to all of the Women Airforce Service Pilots who so bravely served their country and who went unrecognized for far too long. It is also a love letter to my late grandmother who was a Canadian pilot and my best friend, 'Beppy', Betty Greply (nee Ward).
Boundless also stars Canadian Broadcast Icon, Dini Petty, who was also the 1st woman in the world to pilot a helicopter while simultaneously broadcasting.
Before filming, we discovered that my grandmother and Dini both flew out of Buttonville Airport in the 1960s.
I am so thrilled to share this film and everyone's hard work with the world!
